Robbery and other vices at Central Music Awards Nominees Jam due to NO Security.


The much awaited and anticipated Central Music Awards which is to be held on the 26th of December 2016 at the Centre for National Culture, had its nominees jam and Central For Peace Carnival this past Saturday, 26th November 2016 at the London Bridge in the South of Cape Coast.

The Jams was graced with performances by artistes in the Central Region like Slim B, Mula Palmer, Okutey, Real MC, Lokal, eShun among others who have been nominated in this year’s CMA.
The event took a dirty turn when the indegines robbed, raped and pulled knife at people in an attempt to kill.
Investigations made by SpeedMusicGH shows that Kwame Yogot was slapped in an attemt to take his laptop which was intervened by a fellow artiste from the area.
A girl who was part of the audience ageing from 16-20years was also reported raped by four men when she was going to urinate.
Management of Slim B, Big Jack Entertainment was also brutally robbed as a gang of twelve surrounded and took all their belongings including the team’s photographer’s camera, laptop, tablet, wallet and about five phones.

The event was successful but not for all as a lot of people who were taken photos were slapped and stripped off thier phones, tablets and cameras.
All these took place as there was not even a single policeman around and the crowd were not alerted of the area in which they had come, as they could have been careful.
