Tallybo’s Cat Nation wins Fan Base of the Year in this year’s CMA.

Cat Nation headed by Fantilish rapper Tallybo won the Fan Base of the year in the just ended Central Music Awards.

The President of Cat Nation, Tallybo became popular in the Central Region after the release of his cover of Shatta Wale’s freedom song. The song he titled Egyinamboa Nkwan won the hearts of many in the Central Region as it was played in joints, drinking and eating spots and was mostly played by DJs who were played during floats.

It was this “Egyinamboa Nkwan” song which means Cat Soup that made people call him “Meeoooow” which is the sound made by a cat. He seized the opportunity to create a fan base for himself and the fans decided on a Facebook post he made.

Though the competition was tight as the fan base of the year saw very threatening competitors, Cat Nation was the obvious choice.
