Yaw Black Launches “Visit Cape Coast” Project to Transform Hometown

On Friday, May 3rd, 2024, at 8 pm, Fays Lounge played host to the highly anticipated launch of Yaw Black’s “Visit Cape Coast” project. The event marked a significant milestone in the renowned artist’s mission to address basic challenges in Cape Coast, Ghana, through clean-up exercises, community engagement, and sensitization, as well as providing street lights to enhance security.

The launch event was graced by an impressive array of dignitaries, including:

  • Ekow Simpson, CEO of Cape 360 and popular tourism vlogger
  • Prince Trinity, a respected media personality
  • King Pee, MUSIGHA Central Regional Chairman
  • Hon. Dr. Kwamina Minta Nyarku, also known as RAGGA, Member of Parliament for Cape Coast North, who attended with his entourage

In a show of support for Yaw Black’s initiative, Hon. Dr. Kwamina Minta Nyarku pledged 50 boots and a sum of Ghc5,000 to aid the project’s progress. This gesture of goodwill underscores the importance of collaboration and community involvement in driving positive change.
